Jay Coldren


Coldren Hospitality was founded by Jay Coldren, a thirty-year veteran of the foodservice industry with career expertise in the development and operations of independent restaurants, boutique hotels and luxury foodservice retail.

His operations experience includes key leadership roles at iconic properties such as the Inn at Little Washington, Las Canarias at La Mansion del Rio, The Anasazi Dining Room and his own partnered ventures which include IndeBleu in Washington, DC and Joy America Café at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore.

As the Brand Leader for EDITION Hotels, Jay worked alongside legendary hotelier Ian Schrager to develop award-winning F&B venues around the globe including partnerships with Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Jason Atherton, Tom Aikens, David Thompson, Paul Hsu and Stephen Starr.

Most recently, Jay served as the Chief Development Officer and Managing Director of North America Market Stores for the iconic food retailer Dean & DeLuca.

Jay lives in Washington DC with his wife, two daughters and French bulldog Zeke.
